Thermodynamic Analysis and Working Fluid Selection of a Novel Cogeneration System Based on a Regenerative Organic Flash Cycle

Recently proposed organic flash cycles maintain lower irreversibility in the evaporator than traditional Rankine cycles. This study presented a novel combined heat and power system that was based on regenerative cycle, order to improve thermal efficiency. Parametric analyses for were carried out, using six working fluids, performed with source temperatures sink ranged from 130 °C 170 °C, 20 40 respectively.
